He Ying (Chinese: 何影; pinyin: Hé Yǐng, born April 17, 1977 in Jilin) is an archer from the People's Republic of China who has competed at three Summer Olympics.[1]

In 1996 Atlanta Olympics He won the silver in the women's individual event. She competed again in 2000 in Sydney but did not win a medal.

At the 2004 Summer Olympics He placed 4th in the women's individual ranking round with a 72-arrow score of 667. In the first round of elimination, she faced 61st-ranked Helen Palmer of Great Britain. He Ying defeated Palmer 141-130 in the 18-arrow match to advance to the round of 32. In that round, she faced 29th-ranked Australian archer Melissa Jennison. A tie-breaker was needed when the 18 arrow match was tied 158-158, which He Ying won 9-8 to advance to the round of 16. She then defeated 52nd-ranked Kirstin Jean Lewis of South Africa 156-142, advancing to the quarterfinals.

In the quarterfinals, He Ying faced 21st-ranked and eventual bronze medalist Alison Williamson of Great Britain, missing the target entirely with 2 of 12 arrows. The final score of 109-89 placed her 8th overall in women's individual archery.

She was also a member of the team that won the silver medal for China in the women's team archery competition. She is the coach of Li Jiaman who won the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics girls' individual and mixed team gold.[2]
