Jake T. Austin (born December 3, 1994) is an American child actor who currently stars as Max Russo, the youngest of three wizards, on the Disney Channel Original Series, Wizards of Waverly Place and as Diego in the Nicktoons animated series "Go, Diego, Go!" which is so uncool. He also appeared in the film Hotel For Dogs.
Biography
Jake Austin was born Jake Toranzo-Szymanski[1] in New York City, New York, the son of Giny and Joey Szymanski. His father is of Polish, Irish, and English descent and his mother is of Puerto Rican and Argentine ancestry.[2][3] Austin performed the voice for Diego, the lead character in the show Go, Diego, Go!, which is shown on Nick Jr. He has also provided voices for the animated movies The Ant Bully and Everyone's Hero, and appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board, The Perfect Game, a sports drama about a little league team from Mexico, which becomes the first non-US team to win the little league world series. During filming, he became close friends with his costars, Jansen Panettiere and Moises Arias. He also recently starred in Hotel for Dogs, co-starring Emma Roberts.
