Katherine LaNasa (born December 1, 1966) is an American actress, who originally trained as a ballet dancer.

She has appeared in guest roles on numerous television series, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, ER, Justice, Two and a Half Men, and Seinfeld. She portrayed recurring character Yvonne Dunbar on Judging Amy and Kim McPherson on The Guardian. She played the lead role of Bess in NBC's Three Sisters, which was cancelled after two seasons. She was a member of the cast of the short-lived 2006 series Love Monkey, playing Karen Freed, sister of the main character Tom. LaNasa also appeared in Steven Soderbergh's Schizopolis as Attractive Woman #1.

LaNasa was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Annie (née Hardin) and Dr. James J. LaNasa, Jr., a plastic surgeon.[1] She was married to Dennis Hopper from June 17, 1989 to April 1992. Hopper and LaNasa had a son, Henry Lee Hopper (born 1990).[2]

On May 19, 1998, she married comedic actor French Stewart. They met when she made a guest appearance on a 1996 episode ("Green-Eyed Dick") of 3rd Rock from the Sun.[3] The couple owned and operated several zoos in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area until they divorced in December 2009.[citation needed]
