Mehmandust-e Olya (Persian: مهماندوست عليا)^[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Mehmandust Rural District of Kuraim District, Nir County, Ardabil province, Iran.^[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 375 in 75 households.^[5] The following census in 2011 counted 283 people in 81 households.^[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 241 people in 67 households.^[2]
