Moloacán is a Municipality in Veracruz, Mexico. It is located in south-east zone of the State of Veracruz, about 456 km from state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 261.57 km2. It is located at 17°59′N 94°21′W / 17.983°N 94.350°W / 17.983; -94.350.

The municipality of Moloacán is delimited to the north by Coatzacoalcos to the east by Las Choapas, to the south by Minatitlán and to the west by Ixhuatlán del Sureste.[1]

It produces principally maize, beans, rice and orange fruit.

In Moloacán , in may takes place the celebration in honor to Santiago Apostol, Patron of the town.

The weather in Moloacán is very warm all year with rains in summer and autumn.
