Nagamachi Subway Station

Nagamachi Station (長町駅, Nagamachi eki) is a station on the Sendai Subway Nanboku Line, and on JR East's Jōban Line and Tōhoku Main Line in Taihaku-ku, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. The subway and JR lines are not directly connected, however, the distance between the two stations is only around two hundred meters. In 1999 a signifigant area of the stationfront precinct was redeveloped for commercial and transport enhancement. Construction was undertaken by Japanese general construction contractor Nakano Corporation.
