Now That's What I Call Music! 5 was released on November 14, 2000. The album is the fifth edition of the (U.S.) Now! series. It peaked at number two on the Billboard 200[3] and has been certified 4x Platinum by the RIAA,[4] to date the only non-Christmas album in the U.S. series to achieve that status.[5][6] Three tracks compiled for the album, "It's Gonna Be Me" by "NSync, "Incomplete" by Sisqo, and "Doesn't Really Matter" by Janet Jackson, were number-one songs on the Billboard Hot 100.
