Rain concert chronology

The Rain Day Tour is the first concert tour by Korean singer Rain. The tour started in Seoul and traveled throughout Southeast Asia, including Tokyo and Hong Kong, as well as a stop in New York City .

History

He created and showcased fresh new spectacles at every single concert, and tickets sold out quickly as a result.[1] His first solo concert in Japan, summer of 2004, entitled Rainy Day Japan and held at the Tokyo International Forum, was so popular that all the tickets were sold out 30 seconds after going on sale.[2] The tickets for another of his concerts in Taiwan were sold out the moment they became available. His performances in Hong Kong also sold out in a couple of hours. Altogether, the Rainy Day global tour in 2005 sold out over 307,000 seats in 14 cities in Korea, China and Japan.

Rainy Day New York was the largest-ever Korean concert in New York City, featuring an exclusive 2 hour special performance by Rain at Madison Square Garden in New York City. It occurred in the smaller Theatre at MSG, not the main arena, for two nights. It consisted of Park Ji-yoon as support, as well as American pop singer JoJo, along with American artists P. Diddy and Omarion.
