The Robert J. Frankel Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race run at Santa Anita Park early each year. A Grade IIT event, it is open to fillies and mares, age four and up, willing to race one and one-eighth miles on the turf. The race carries a purse of $150,000.

Inaugurated in 1968 as the San Gorgonio Handicap, the race was renamed in 2010 to honor the late Hall of Fame trainer Robert J. Frankel.[1][2]
