Shrimp and grits at the Green Goddess, New Orleans

Shrimp and grits is a traditional dish in the Lowcountry of coastal South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. It is a traditional breakfast dish. Elsewhere grits may be accompanied by fried catfish or salmon croquettes.[1][2][3]
