Wikipedia standard?

[edit]

By no means am I an expert in Wikipedia editing. I'm just a user pointing out an evident need for this article to be wikified or perhaps even entirely rewritten... Plus, this article is still documenting a current event; I think someone would do good in putting up the corresponding template.--189.4.13.50 (talk) 09:03, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File:Casino Royale Monterrey1.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion

[edit]
An image used in this article, File:Casino Royale Monterrey1.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

Just a suggestion:

[edit]

Any speculative or known reasons for the targeting of the casino or other reasons for targets, methods etc. the fact that there is a war on the go is not quite enough. Would make the article significantly more useful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by LNPS1 (talkcontribs) 15:36, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Translation

[edit]

I translated the info from the Spanish page - hope that helps! Tronella (talk) 17:48, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It does help, thanks! I'll be taking a look at it in two weeks and making some edits when I have my school break. Thanks again! ComputerJA (talk) 18:17, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

An 'Act Of Terror:' Rhetoric Or Rethinking?

[edit]

Sylvia Longmire, a drug war analyst, pointed out that this attack may not necessarily be a narcoterrorist one.[1] I think we should watch for contentious labels, like a terrorist attack, for example. (Please see WP:WORDS for more information) ComputerJA (talk) 05:55, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
