Cleanup[edit]

The statistics (especially league tables & results tables) is not consistent with what is published with the UFL Philippines website, including what was the "home" (left) and the "away" (right) team as officially indicated in the UFL stats.

Also, the league table should instead utilise the fb cl template for simplicity and clarity. All the UFL teams already have their own Template:football club templates. Please refer to the current implementation. --Bernejay (talk) 17:41, 28 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I already edited the league table, but i noticed that not all UFL teams have a wikipedia article... Please be advised

Multiple issues[edit]

Like I said prior to the previous cleanup, the score must be consistent with the published data from the UFL Philippines website. Some are not really followed. The results table even indicate duplicate scores, that do not reflect that the second round fixture between two teams were already commenced. Please be reminded of the "home-away" style pairing the UFL management has published. The league table must be consistent as well.

Infobox must be consistent with the winning or losing runs and number of goals scored of the teams of Division 1 and 2. They must be kept track.

Please look for the sources for the top scorers list, as well as the source of the default win of Manila All-Japan against Sunken Garden United. It's unclear what the "defaulted" score was after the declaration.

Please be advised. -Bernejay (talk) 07:58, 3 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Clean up.... already done Xtian06 (talk) 16:16, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Season awards overlap[edit]

The contents of the "Season Awards" section does not conform to standards set up by known football leagues, for example: 2011–12 Premier League. Please be reminded of re-organizing and expand the reasons why players/clubs won this award and such. Non-compliance will warrant deletion of section. --Bernejay (talk) 15:27, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmmm, what if we put it in a table, since Division 1 and 2 has the same article? If we follow the top league format, it should be in a sentence describing how the player/team obtain the award. The problem is the lack of reference... the league website does not divulged all data that was important in creating the section. --Xtian06 (talk) 16:40, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's what I am thinking, UFL is not a league that has same quality with those European leagues, such as Barclays, La Liga, etc. Putting a table is also a good idea. Anyway, I will improved the section with reliable sources. Cyrus35334 (talk) 08:51, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think we should delete the champions and runner up on the season awards section, since it is already noted on the league table. And i guess, fair play (for club) and individual awards should be listed on the said section. Xtian06 (talk) 16:14, 27 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Updating the league tables[edit]

When updating the league tables please observe the dates the recent matches were played and what the "home" and "away" team are. Please base the team draws at the UFL website. Thanks. --Bernejay (talk) 10:59, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Using the fb cl template for league table[edit]

I noticed you used the wikitable template for the league table instead of the fb cl template, which can be inconsistent at times and very tedious to edit. Please refine your league table for better cohesion with the results table which used the fb r template, and also for the ease of the editors of this page. --Bernejay (talk) 10:59, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Spliting the Division 1 from Division 2?[edit]

Is it possible to split the United Football League into 2? We should separate Division 1 from Division 2. Xtian06 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 08:27, 3 March 2012 (UTC).[reply]

It could be possible, but it may not be significant as of date. If ever the 2 divisions expand by at least 18 clubs, then we may split that season's article into two serving 2 divisions. -Bernejay (talk) 14:27, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Home/away[edit]

Technically there are no home/away teams right? Most leagues in the Philippines release a schedule indicating what uniform color (light or dark; dunno here) has to wear. That has to be noted somewhere in the results section. –HTD 15:24, 14 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

For the sake of formality and to avoid confusion (as the tournament is done through a double round-robin method), the "home/away" style pairing was used in the official UFL scheduling, although the actual practise isn't used yet. The Results section needs cleanup as I have seen duplicate scores between two teams in two rounds. -Bernejay (talk) 14:08, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Would it be better if the goals scored by the team in the leftmost column is shown first in the results? At this point you don't know which team scored which score unless it's a draw. –HTD 14:28, 13 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
