There are more than two hospitals in Akershus. Of the two mentioned in the article, Akershus Universitssykehus is the largest in the county, and one of the largest in Norway, while Sunnaas is a small hospital that specializes in physical therapy and rehabilitation. Sykehuset Asker og Bærum, which is not mentioned, is a large general hospital. In general terms, Akershus Universitetssykehus serves the east half of the county and some of the eastern parts of Oslo, while Sykehuset Asker og Bærum serves the west half of the county as well as some of the western parts of Oslo. Both have smaller "satellites" throughout the county, including smaller general hospitals, specialized clinics, and local emergency clinics. DES (talk) 23:40, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
