Microsampling[edit]

Microsampling as a means to arrive at new and unheard sounds was not invented by Akufen. Jan Jelinek (Gramm, Farben) for example used randomly picked microscopic cut-outs of jazz records which he looped through his ensoniq eps 16+ or asr-sampler as early as 1996. (One of his albums -released Feb. 2001- was consequently titled "loop-finding-jazz records".) So it might be misleading to speak of "his" (Akufen´s) concept.--93.219.178.69 (talk) 09:26, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
