Name change rationale[edit]

From the lead section:

in January 2017 was renamed to its current name.

Does any reliable source give the reason for this name change? For example, was it meant to distance Andrews McMeel from NBCUniversal? --Damian Yerrick (talk) 02:22, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
