POV fluff and context[edit]

In this edit I scaled back some of the adoration that was prevalent in the box office section. "Highly successful" is needless puffery, particularly when there are virtually no financial figures or any context, like comparisons to other films, to put the claim into perspective. It's a subjective declaration that is being presented as a fact, and it's certainly not consistent with WP:NPOV. In the same edit I added some context in the form of an analysis by a Rediff writer, who believed that part of the success of the film was due to a lack of competition. I would not be surprised if this rankled some people, but this is exactly the sort of context we need in a neutral encyclopedia. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:05, 15 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
