Birth[edit]

This article has Phelan born in 1948, which would explain the age 71 being published by some sources. WWGB (talk) 03:16, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ironically the AWW article is about how Wikipedia had the wrong birth date so McInerney assumed Phelan was not her mother. --Canley (talk) 11:13, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've roamed the 'net and found both ages mentioned. In a couple of places, the article's title mentions one age while the article itself mentions the other age!

The more reliable publications have mostly stated her age as 75. Also, despite one editor's apparently incorrect claim about an MEAA tweet, I cannot find any reliable source about her death published before October 28th. @WWGB Here's a surprising fact. A women's magazine interviewing two women (a mother and daughter) about their reunion. A publication that is eighty-six years old would not have survived that long without credibility. What would be their motivation in lying about her age . . . to prove Wikipedia was wrong. Get a grip!
