What does "anti-communist" mean here?[edit]

To explain the {{clarification needed}} tag: given that "anti-communist", especially in the Cold War era, can/could mean practically anything, I'd like to see some more explanation in this article. What were the members of this group? What was their agenda? QVVERTYVS (hm?) 20:46, 24 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Expanded a little. Anti-Castro would probably be a better description. I've also requested help from Wikiproject Cold War. I'm not sure I know enough about the topic to do it justice. Ulcerspar12 (talk) 01:57, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Overthrow Castro - in 1958[edit]

Not sure what this means: The group staged a failed attempt to overthrow Castro in 1958.

Since Castro was still a rebel in 1958, is the suggestion here that there was a failed attempt to defeat his rebel group? "Overthrow" wouldn't be the proper word to use since he wasn't a ruler - yet. Canada Jack (talk) 13:57, 8 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
