This article has some necessary and important information but has been developed to a much greater extent on Wiki's www.ancientlibrary.com edition. Much of the ancientlibrary.com article [Wiki Classical Dictionary: Aristander of Telmessus at the URL, http://www.ancientlibrary.com/wcd/Aristander_of_Telmessus] should actually be transferred to here, since the discussion taking place on that format, is more appropriate for an encyclopedic entry. There is substantial amount of valued information on the dictionary entry that does NOT seem appropriate to a dictionary article and would have much greater value here.

One part of this article that deserves note is the list of references, that seems to have been well thought out and involved significant research. That portion should without a doubt remain. The remainder of this article is very short, and as such, should augment and be synthesized with the substantial contribution to www.ancientlibrary.com entry (which should be lessened with portions transferred to this entry so that it is within the format and expectations of a dictionary entry). I should add that this topic is of either mid to low importance. Stevenmitchell 05:12, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
