Question[edit]

Why is this artice entitled "Arrowhead SF"? Is it to disambiguate it from other "Arrowhead" articles? Is so, this probably needs a disambiguation page. I don't see anywhere that the name of this building is "Arrowhead SF" but rather just "Arrowhead". If "SF" is added to show that it is the "Arrowhead" most pertinent to "science ficion", then the naming convention would seem to indicate that this article should be moved to "Arrowhead (science fiction)" or similar. Virginia Kidd[edit]

I just wrote an article about Virginia Kidd; had nobody noticed that she had no article, other than a quickly-deleted copyvio one a while back? --Orange Mike 16:40, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A couple of comments[edit]

I'm pretty sure the bathroom graffiti was covered over before 1987, not in the 90s as reported. I went to work at the agency in September of 1987, and it was gone by then. Also, the description of the relationship between the park service and the agency has been described to me in somewhat more positive terms than is reflected by the article's phrasing. I have no idea of how this could be sourced. --Pleasantville (talk) 20:21, 17 January 2008 (UTC) aka Kathryn Cramer[reply]

I wrote this article[edit]

...and as to my credentials, I am Virginia's son, I lived at Arrowhead for many years, and I have dated correspondence and a personal diary that tracks most of these events, though I'll grant that the graffiti might have been gone in the 80's -- I wasn't there at the time. I moved to Florida in 1976 from Arrowhead, and I can assure you the graffiti was there then. So the window would be 1976...1987, presuming Kathryn's recall is correct, which I have no reason to doubt. I also currently own and operate the literary agency, and am in possession of many of VK's personal papers in my role as the family genealogist; further, I'm the one who put together and maintains blish.org. --fyngyrz (talk) 11:18, 16 December 2009 (MDT)

That's all well and good, but (counterintuitive though it may seem) we cannot rely on your personal recollections and unpublished documents. One of our guiding principles is that we are a compilation of verifiable, published information taken from reliable sources. --Orange Mike | Talk 21:23, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
