Reducing the "Park Safety" section[edit]

Unless there is objection I will prune the "Park Safety" section as it has too much detail and vague warnings that could apply to other wilderness hiking areas. At some point perhaps it is worth restructuring by providing reference to notable disasters or unfortunate events that have happened in the park. @Marshelec@Turnagra@Schwede66 Cheers, Uninspired Username (talk) 18:07, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think a lot of that content is good, but it would probably make sense to be incorporated into other aspects of the article rather than a disproportionately large park safety section. I'm seeing stuff about access, incidents, and geography at the very least. Turnagra (talk) 18:19, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have found that this same content appears in Wikivoyage [1], and I consider that it is more suitable for that platform, because it is in the form of a travel guide. A link to Wikivoyage is already included in the External links of this article. I propose that there should be no section in this article titled "Park safety", and that the existing content should be mostly deleted. A list or brief description of notable incidents might be useful. Marshelec (talk) 18:29, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with that view, Marshelec. Schwede66 18:34, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
