Arthur Rhys-Davids was nominated as a good article, but it did not meet the good article criteria at the time (March 7, 2013). There are suggestions below for improving the article. If you can improve it, please do; it may then be renominated.

Expansion and editing[edit]

I found this article was a copy of another website. I expanded it, rewrote it, and referenced it. In its present form, it should be clear of any copyright and plagiarism issues, as I researched facts and reached my own conclusions based on them.

Rename article[edit]

As his surname is listed in official documents and medal citations as Rhys-Davids I would suggest the article is moved to Arthur Rhys-Davids. MilborneOne (talk) 21:45, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fokker Triplane[edit]

I have never seen the Fokker Triplane dubbed anything other than the Fokker Dr.1., per http://www.theaerodrome.com/aircraft/germany/fokker_dri.php and every other source I have ever read. So where does the designation Fokker F1 come from?

The Fokker F1 was a prototype version of the eventual Fokker DR1. There was even an earlier prototype version that didn't have struts between the wings. 50.202.81.2 (talk) 05:11, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Could we break out other articles?[edit]

Hello,

Although I lack expertise in judging academic notability, it seems to be that both of the ace's parents qualify for their own independent articles in Wikipedia because of their distinguished careers.
