Actually, this article could use some mention of the panoramic photo of Mendenhall Glacier which adorns the wall directly behind where the assemblymembers sit. I'm pretty sure that sources exist which mention the process that Ron Klein(?) undertook to make that photo in at least some detail. Speaking of photos, an edition of the Alaska Blue Book included a photo of the Assembly, ca. 1984, in a joint meeting with the planning commission. Since there's been little to no effort to assess the copyright status of Alaska state documents, I'm probably just pissing up a tree here.
