Suggestion to improve first sentence[edit]

The first sentence of this article says "Audubon is the flagship journal of the National Audubon Society." However, both the Audubon Society and the WP disambiguation title refer to this publication as a magazine, not a journal. Having the first sentence contradict this creates dissonance for readers who are accustomed to making the distinction.

I suggest the first sentence would better read: "Audubon is a magazine that has been published by the National Audubon Society for over a century and is read by 1.8 million people[1]." ChristineBushMV (talk) 03:34, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
