Does anyone have a reference on the claimed former name "Audio Products Inc"?? I used to work there, in the 70's, and never heard that before. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.94.229.218 (talk) 03:35, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How exactly is API not "notable"? They are one of the most respected companies in the audio industry. Don't delete this article just because you haven't heard of them. What kind of notability references are required? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.206.10.26 (talk) 11:48, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please see WP:GNG and WP:CORP for notability guidelines. --Kvng (talk) 14:41, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the phrase "VPR Alliance" should be a link to a separate article about the 500-series format in general. The impact of API, the VPR Alliance, and 500-series modules on the recording industry is huge, and deserves a thorough treatment here.178.200.115.156 (talk) 23:49, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
