Expansion[edit]

I wonder what proportion of early Rollers were built by Barker? And what their total output was, both before and after the liquidation? And whether we can find a museum with one of their coaches that we can photograph? And whether coaches and/or automotive coachwork are still produced under the name, and if not when each stopped? Lots of questions!

And even what the founder's full name was? He might not qualify for an article (I think he should but it might be controversial) but he definitely deserves a paragraph in this article and a redir. Andrewa (talk) 04:50, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A century ago every town in NSW (not every settlement) will have had a coachbuilder as well as its blacksmith(s) and in Europe and North America etc. they will have been as common as petrol stations today, maybe more common. Check in a few old commercial directories. I think you will mean coachbuilders of fine carriages for the very rich. I am very pleased to see this new article. When you are done can we discuss a few amendments here? Regards, Eddaido (talk) 07:23, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
