Assessment[edit]

I've assessed this against the five B class criteria and believe it to be a Start-class article. Please note that the Military history project currently does not use C-class. For a successful B-class rating the article requires some more in-line citations (at least one per paragraph, more if multiple sources are used or multiple challengable assertions are made, numbers quoted etc.) Also, I believe that the article falls down on grammar. I've copy-edited most of the typos, etc, however, the tense used in the article does not seem right to me. For example use of words such as "is" should be replaced with "was" as these events occured in the past. A final suggestion is to add a bit more context to the article as it is a bit difficult for a reader without knowledge of the era to determine why the battle occured. When you feel like the article is ready for re-assessment, please add it to the list at WP:MHA. If you would like more in depth comments, you might consider adding it for peer review by going to WP:MHPR. Thank you for your contribution and good work so far. — AustralianRupert (talk) 07:01, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Casualties[edit]

Does anyone have an idea about exactly how many British ships were damaged, captured or sunk. This information is needed for the battle box. --Az81964444 (talk) 21:15, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
