[edit] Scope and main goals

This Project's objectives are to maintain and expand articles with complete information, better organization, and achieve a neutral point of view. Everyone is invited to join (Venezuelan or not), including Spanish translators. The main objectives of this WikiProject are:

  1. To improve the articles, lists, and tables related to Venezuela, in order to attain better quality.
  2. To create articles necessary and/or related to a general subject (i.e., History, Geography, Culture, etc.)
  3. To maintain a neutral point of view in articles.
  4. To encourage participation, including those that are not members of this project.

I'm a vistor from WikiProject Opera (where I write frequently on opera topics), but recently I acquired an extraordinary book on El Sistema which I've quoted and added into references section while I totally reorganized the El Sistema article (which was a mess!!). Someone from your project might want to review it and assess its current level - although I've not finished the book nor finished expanding!! Along with the linked videos to which I've given greater prominence, the book has opened my eyes in a number of ways to this incredible movement in Venezuela - and which now appears to be growing in appeal worldwide.
