Improvements needed
[edit]This article is very much a stub. It would be nice if it could be developed and in particular the history addressed (so many "Zoo" articles are little more than adverts). When was this opened (byelaws posted by the amenities block are dated 1964). When did it cease to be a zoo? Did it ever have more interesting animals and if so what happened to them. What was the entrance building (entitled "Museum" and looking much older )previously used for. Has it been extended (the amenities block looks like a former entrance).
