Borja González Tejada → Borja González – WP:COMMONNAME is just "Borja González", doesn't use maternal surname professionally. No other footballer plays under this name. Another alternative is Borja González (footballer, born 1995) if more disambiguation is required from Borja Bastón. Ortizesp (talk) 15:11, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Comment About 50 pages link to Borja González, most if not all referring to Borja Bastón as far as I can see. That does suggest a potential for confusion. The alternative (footballer, born 1995) does seem unnecessarily clunky when we have no other article about a "Borja González (footballer, born X)", but if the guidelines prefer that over the current name, that should not be a problem.
