Untitled[edit]

The article states that a roof rescue was 'impossible', but there's no cite for this statement/paragraph. It's a matter of fact that there was a helipad on the roof, therefore it is reasonable to suppose that nothing prevented a landing during normal conditions. With regard to the smoke and updraft, an approach from the windward side would have been fairly straightforward.

While it's true to say that the combined circumstances of locked roof doors, confusion, and lack of available helicopters or prior planning made such rescue attempts difficult, they were not 'impossible'. BLP1E[edit]

Can someone please explain why this isn't obviously deletable under WP:BLP1E? This person has no notability other than having survived a single terrorist attack. Isn't this exactly why we have this guideline? Qwyrxian (talk) 00:31, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

BLP1E doesn't mean we aren't allowed to have biographical articles on people only known for their involvement in one event. It means such articles need to be examined carefully. In this case, although Brian Clark's 'notability' relates to the events of one day, it's clear that he has been the subject of continuing media coverage and attention in the years since. That makes him worthy of inclusion. Furthermore, this article was considered for deletion as recently as last March, and the verdict was a unanimous 'keep'. Ah, yes, I see that deletion discussion now--thanks for pointing it out. I guess this is just one of those cases where something is so blindingly obvious to me, but others disagree. Changes I made[edit]

I made some rather drastic changes and additions to the articles body. I had trouble making the old reference work, but if someone wants to add more references, or requests that I do it, then let me know. But I promise you everything I added is true and can be referenced. I have heard Clark's and Praimnath's story a million times, I can recite it as if I was actually there. Both of the men have done multiple video interviews where they tell their story and I have watched all of them and this is exactly what they say in all of them. It might be a little "wordy" but considering the whole notability of Clark is in reference to 9/11, it seems okay to me to elaborate a little more on his story of the day. However I stopped at the descent section, if I get some time I might work on that as well.Zdawg1029 (talk) 18:32, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Brian Clark (9/11 attacks survivor) → Brian Clark (businessman) – The current disambiguation 9/11 attacks survivor does not sound very good, specially attacks. I was thinking about suggestion, Brian Clark (9/11 survivor), but than I decided to request Brian Clark (businessman), because the current disambiguation does not sound right, nor correct, specially the word attacks in the disambiguation.
