Missing Junction ?[edit]

Shouldn`t there be a junction at Burry Port, from the main line onto the BP & GV ? If it didn`t exist how did trains get onto the BP & GV before the BR chord was opened in 1983 (bearing in mind that the line from Burry Port to Sandy Junc - Llanelli was closed in stages between 1962 and 1967) ? The article (in RWM Jan 1984 p44 on) on the line to Coedbach hints at there being a junction at Burry port but does not name it and it doesn`t appear in the map in that article. Cobbs Rail atlas is unclear as to whether there`s a junction there, and certainly doesn`t name it --JustinSmith (talk) 18:27, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Missing locomotive ?[edit]

I am not sure if I am editing this discussion page correctly so please forgive me if I am incorrect in my method.. However, there is an engine missing from the list. The omission is a Fox Walker 0-6-0ST, built in 1886 and sold to the BP & GV from what had been the Maenclochog Railway, and later was the The North Pembrokeshire and Fishguard Railway. Her name Is MARGARET, and she is currently in store at Pembrokeshire County Council's 'Scolton Manor country park. She was owned by the BP & GV from July 1910 until the GWR takeover in 1923 and was sold by the GWR to the Kidwelly Tinplate Company. She still carries the BP & GV name plate on her left hand cab side which also has the name of the Kidwelly Tinplae Company, and her number (2), to whom she was sold in 1923.
