Canadian defunct radio station disambiguator changes[edit]

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: All moved, no opposition. I suggest these moves, which are backed by consensus, can be made without a formal RM in future, unless they are expected to be controversial. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 19:19, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

– This RM proposes 8 title changes to remove the (defunct) disambiguator from Canadian radio station articles. My arguments are substantially similar to those at Talk:KCLA (Arkansas), a consolidated RM of 94 such pages for US stations. Titles have been chosen in priority of: major city or province; city and province, when the current station is in the same province; and frequency, when another station in the same city on a different frequency now uses the call letters. In the case of CKCH, no disambiguator is necessary, but it is being included anyway. Raymie (tc) 04:47, 2 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
