The Needle's Eye[edit]

No mention of the supposed wager that he won; claiming he could drive a horse and carriage through a needle's eye at full speed? If it is a myth, it should probable be mentioned as such on the page. Zerothis (talk) 06:56, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Some sources say it was Earl Fitzwilliam (presumably William Fitzwilliam, 3rd Earl Fitzwilliam) who allegedly made the wager c. 1746.[1][2] Clarityfiend (talk) 20:35, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
