According to the official website[edit]

As in previous editions of the Summer Olympics, the flag of the Republic of China will not be displayed. If athletes from Chinese Taipei win gold medals, the National Banner Song, not the National Anthem of the Republic of China, will be played at the medal ceremony.

I don't know if it is an error from the official website or not, but according to the official website, the anthem of chinese Taipei is San Min Chu-i from Words by Sun Yat Sen. Funny isn't it...

Must be an error, because it now says "Anthem of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee" on the English page (and similar translation in French, don't know enough Chinese to confirm that one) - never heard it be referred to by that name before, but I don't doubt that BOCOG/IOC puts the most neutral title there. --Canuckguy (talk) 14:54, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
