Christine Russell's press secretary?
[edit]Where on earth did you get that from? The editor of the Midweek Chronicle is the same person as was the editor of the Chester Mail and has never been Christine Russell's press secretary. I'm going to delete that bit but I'm still really intrigued. Ericatom 19:50, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- It's a sarcastic allusion to the then editor-in-chief Paul Chamberlain who was well-renowned within the city for his patronage of Ms Russell. Many people saw the Chronicle titles as nothing more than mouthpieces of New Labour.

Defunct?
[edit]This paper is no longer delivered in Chester, as far as I am aware it stopped in 2010.
