Update[edit]

{{editprotected}} Please update redirect to Quantum mysticism#Consciousness causes collapse now that that section exists. - Eldereft (cont.) 08:13, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

 Done Thanks, PeterSymonds (talk) 12:22, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Update reference[edit]

There have been major changes to the quantum mysticism page. As a result, this redirect no longer makes sense. I recommend that this redirects to the, very comprehensive, quantum mind, which discusses the direct ramifications of quantum theory as it relates to human consciousness. I will duplicate this request on the admin's talk page in case it is not on the watch list. --Lightbound talk 22:48, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Should redirect to Wigner's interpretation of quantum mechanics. 1Z (talk) 23:37, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You know, now that I have read WP:NAME, perhaps all this debate could be ended with a deletion of this page. Just a suggestion. --Lightbound talk 23:43, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No CCC is mentioned on Wigner's interpretation of quantum mechanics as a synonym.1Z (talk) 23:47, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Shouldn't the term point to the more general concept of the theory of mind as it relates to quantum mechanics? Why are you trying to steer it to one, and only one, interpretation? Giving the whole concept a chance sure would be a shame for a new reader. Lets not allow them that liberty to decide for themselves. Is that what you are suggesting? This is my last comment on this page. I hope its input helps. I digress from the debate. --Lightbound talk 23:59, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
CCC refers to something quite specific which is different from Orch-OR, for instance.1Z (talk) 08:59, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Change the redirect or just delete it. A link to quantum mysticism, even if that is what this "concept" is, makes no sense in the contexts in which this is linked. In fact, this really should be at RFD so that a decision can be made. 140.247.103.56 (talk) 00:43, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I can't change the page because it is edit protected. It's fate is being discussed at quantum mysticism anywa. What would help is removal of the protect. 1Z (talk) 07:37, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RFD[edit]

{{editprotected}} I am attempting to nominate this redirect to either be deleted or retargeted. Could someone add an RFD tag to this article? 140.247.103.56 (talk) 00:59, 2 October 2009 (UTC) I have created a nomination at Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2009_October_2, so it's just missing the tag now. 140.247.103.56 (talk) 01:19, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is anyone going to take the protect off? 1Z (talk) 07:52, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, there was quite a bit of disruption leading up to the protection, and it is doubtful that this redirect will need to be edited except very occasionally (for instance, potentially once the current forking furor settles down). Go ahead and request at WP:RFPP if you want to see how it goes, though. - 2/0 (cont.) 16:20, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
