Request to retain[edit]

Article cleaned up and references added to better display the significance of this artist, an important figure in the evolution of Australian and New Zealand comics and illustration. Ian T (talk) 10:15, 13 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the cleanup Ian, but I’m concerned that there just isn’t enough significant coverage to demonstrate that Phillips really is an important figure. I appreciate that you might have an insight on the industry that the average Aussie or Kiwi doesn’t have, but we really need a good book chapter or a thorough magazine article about his influence on illustration or art.
