Here is a photo of mine of some cypress pines in Melbourne Australia. I don't know what species they are, but someone who does can install this photo in the appropriate article. Adam 09:38, 25 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Mythos section needed?
Is the Cypress#Mythos section appropriate here? It seems out of place in a disambiguation page. Wouldn't it be better on the Hades page and/or the Cupressus_sempervirens page? --Dcfleck 17:02, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
"The word "cypress" is derived from Old French "cipres", which was imported from Latin "cyparissus," the latinisation of the Greek κυπάρισσος (kyparissos)." AAARGH! But what does the Greek κυπάρισσος (kyparissos) mean ???????? 188.8.131.52 (talk) 06:49, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
As I was trying to find Czech translation, I realized there is translation for Cupressaceae (https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyp%C5%99i%C5%A1ovit%C3%A9) and Cupressus (https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyp%C5%99i%C5%A1), but struggle to find any translation for this extra article and it doesn't seem to give any different information. Shouldn't it be merged with Cupressacae article? Kub1x (talk) 07:15, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
