Untitled[edit]

This article is heavily biased and is presented as though it were an entry about a person when in reality it is almost totally devoted to the vilification of the state of Israel. For example, it presents the organization that calls itself the "Palestinian Centre for Human Rights" as if it were a bona fide human rights organization when it reality it is a political activist organization supporting one side (the Palestinians) within the context of the Israel-Palestine conflict. The article does not provide a counter-balance to the allegations in Machover's interview in The Independent that would explain why the British Government opposed Machover's attempts to harass prominent Israeli visitors to Britain. It references the Goldstone Report without mentioning that subsequently Goldstone publicly recanted the most serious allegations in his report (thus discrediting the report and those who produced it). Nor does the article mention that subsequently the British Parliament did alter the law so that it now prevents Machover and his ilk from taking advantage of British law to further their own political agendas, by requiring the approval of the attorney general before arrest warrants can be issued. There are other examples of prejudice and bias throughout the article. This entry should be either completely rewritten in an impartial manner or removed from wikipedia. closer <> further[edit]

Soosim, please explain how removing content that is present in the source cited, Terror police feared gun battle with Israeli general, in this edit is "closer to what the source says". It removes pertinent information, actually the main points in the article about this case, that are present in the source. The resulting content is therefore surely further rather than closer to what the source cited says. Did you read the source ? Your edit summary is either an error or a misrepresentation. Please tell me it was an error and that you will restore the content or at least provide a plausible explanation for its removal. Also, NGO Monitor are not a reliable source for claims about BLPs, period. The EL must be removed. Sean.hoyland - talk 11:45, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

this article is about machover, not about those "main points" as you call them. the edit is neither an error nor a misrepresentation. we have wikilinks and other links to direct people to more information about topics discussed in an article. i will change the EL to FR. thanks.
