Overall suggestions/comments[edit]

This article gave a strong overall idea of this beetle and its behaviors. There were a couple points where more clarification could be helpful. It is unclear what the “gallery” is which is mentioned under the mating section for this beetle. An image may be useful to help with visualization of this mating strategy. Also, the information on the beetle’s presence in China can be consolidated to one section on how the beetles are an invasive species in that specific country, instead of having the information spread out through the different sections. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BreannaY77 (talkcontribs) 00:50, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pitch tubes tunnel system[edit]

What does this sentence mean, it's stuck in the middle of the paragraph, what pitch tubes, what tunnel system?

"Pitch tubes are found at the entrance to the tunnel system; these are formed of a mixture of resin and frass, and vary in colour according to the species of the host tree."

What is this article talking about?

Potential Information[edit]

This entry does not have information about enemies yet. This could be included since it is related to the fact that its distribution to China became a disaster, which was greatly attributed to the lack of an enemy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Reaggyl (talkcontribs) 03:06, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
