Comments[edit]

I've noticed a few different track listings for Destroyed. One rearranges songs and replaces "The Right Thing", with "The Right then when you are 15 Years Old". Anyone know what's going on there? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.141.192.4 (talk) 22:56, 10 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Album Title/Grammar/Standardization[edit]

So, is the title of the album "Destroyed." or just "Destroyed"? The article title indicates with a period, but it is commonly written here without the period. This should be standardized throughout the article. As well, grammatically, is it appropriate to feature a second period if the album title is the final word of a sentence; in other words, is "I don't know how to punctuate Destroyed.." appropriate, or can we use the title's period as a sentence ending period as well? -=Worloq=- (talk) 02:15, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Moby's own web site styles the title without the period, as do the vast majority of sources, possibly all sources. See [1]. Moby's web site also shows the album names "destroyed remixed" and "destroyed deluxe" without periods after the first word. I'm going to be bold and move the article to a title without the period if I can. – Jonesey95 (talk) 06:29, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Destroyed.Destroyed (Moby album) – The artist's own web site does not use a period in the name, nor do any sources I could find. I can't move the article myself because there is already a redirect in the correct location, and I want to preserve the article's edit history and Talk page. I imagine that there may be a person or two who believes that the article name should have a period at the end because the album sleeve shows a period at the end of the word. I believe that the artist's web site and the common parlance among sources should determine the name of the article. – Jonesey95 (talk) 06:37, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a page by Moby explaining the new album, including the name. He uses "destroyed" as the name of the album multiple times, with no period at the end of the word. – Jonesey95 (talk) 06:40, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - Regardless of sources, the end punctuation is not a sufficient disambiguator, with an exception of Jeopardy! George Ho (talk) 20:21, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support periods are frequently dropped, and highly missed/ignored. And per typos all over wikipedia, it should really go to the same place destroyed goes. -- 76.65.128.112 (talk) 23:31, 3 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
