Kew Gardens disambiguation[edit]

The link to Kew Gardens links to the Kew Gardens in London.

I assume that this is not the Kew Gardens it's meant to be. As I'm from the UK I don't know of any other. Could someone fix this? Ignore, I've fixed the link now. -- Funky Monkey  (talk)  01:54, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation[edit]

What’s the proper pronunciation of his name? Is it “Mains”? “Mainz”? or “Man-Es”? Useddenim (talk) 03:45, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's Man-Es. --Petzl (talk) 16:57, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No Article For the Parking Violations Bureau Scandal Itself?[edit]

I'm kind of surprised the only vestige of this scandal is Donald Manes' listing itself. It seems like it would be a notable page in its own right (and then there would be a link on Manes' page to Main Article: Queens Parking Violations Bureau Scandal. --Petzl (talk) 16:57, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Donald Manes' middle name?[edit]

It's seemingly impossible to find out what the "R" in Donald R. Manes' name signifies. Cannot find one reference on the web. It's also not found in any other obituaries, nor his cemetery gravestone in the Find-A-Grave, nor in his marriage license (via familysearch.org) Nor is his full name even found in the Social Security Death Index (although, even if they had had it, they seem to allow middle initials there). --Petzl (talk) 18:37, 20 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
