Dopefish rises[edit]

More recently, Dopefish has arisen in the form of the supreme exploiter of World of Warcraft. He created the video Exploration: the Movie. The best video. Ever. Even if it was on an emulated server. Anyway, thought i would throw that in there.

Dude, Dopefish does NOT use emulated servers. Especially not on his video's. I've done most of his things so I personally know. But yes, I think this should be thrown in here since he's basicly famous in the World of Warcraft community for making movies about getting to restricted area's..--81.245.112.19 16:38, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Should freeware/fan made appearances be counted?[edit]

Right now there are a few listed appearances that I feel are somewhat questionable. The Dopefish is well known for appearing in a large number of commercial games by a wide range of companies, but these are simply fan made games/mod things. From what I can tell, SuperTux and Eternal Daughter are freeware games, while Fortress Forever is an as-of-yet unreleased mod for Half-Life 2. While I assume that the Dopefish makes a legitimate appearance in all of them somehow, I can't exactly speak for their notability. I know for a fact that the Dopefish has been in dozens and dozens of fan made projects, but of course, listing all of them here would be overkill. Should these three appearances make the cut? As the above user notes, there are quite a few listed appearances that are definitely questionable - the most obvious example being that of M.U.G.E.N., which is a game-creation ENGINE which compiles text files into a playable game and most CERTAINLY does not include Dopefish (though, of course, anyone can create and distribute a Dopefish character, this is obviously not notable). I'm removing the mention of M.U.G.E.N. for that reason, and I suggest that others more knowledgeable about the games on this list look through and remove other invalid entries. Removed Quake 3 Image[edit]

I removed Quake 3 image, and replaced it with image from standard game that was already on the page. The reason I did this was because if you put in one cameo appearance, where do you draw the line? All this info is already at dopefish.com. Furthermore, the placement of the image with the two dopefish on it that was at the top of the page was formatted poorly. It's placement was sitting on top of article text, that should not be allowed to happen. I strongly suggest we do not put cameo images back again for the reasons I stated here.

Rise Of The Triads[edit]
