Why only "2"?[edit]

"Each exit in the highway loop is numbered 2" - yeah, ok, but: Why? It doesn't seem to be something obvious like "all on the same mile". I have to say that I've never heard the downtown loop called the "Alphabet Loop" - is there anywhere in print where this is referenced? (ESkog)^(Talk) 00:25, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's not called the "Alphabet Loop." I've added a Citation Needed tag. I was tempted to just remove it. I mean, it's completely fake, but it's been on Wikipedia long enough that now you can find this name used on the web. But no one in real life says that.

From a quick Google search, it's in use in a local NPR article from 2015 and various other websites that aren't Wikipedia mirrors. Imzadi 1979 → 12:21, 21 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
