Redirect?[edit]

I'm not sure why this was redirected as failed, Subjects notable only for one event. When in the same criteria, "If the event is significant and the individual's role within it is substantial and well-documented, a separate biography may be appropriate. The significance of an event or individual is indicated by how persistent the coverage is in reliable sources." Not only does the article meet that criteria but also meets Significant coverage and If the event is highly significant, and the individual's role within it is a large one, a separate article is generally appropriate. Same goes on to say, "as indicated by the large coverage of the event in reliable sources that devotes significant attention to the individual's role." Also meets second reason for denial, WP:PERP "For perpetrators, section 2 reads: "The motivation for the crime or the execution of the crime is unusual—or has otherwise been considered noteworthy—such that it is a well-documented historic event. Generally, historic significance is indicated by sustained coverage of the event in reliable secondary sources which persists beyond contemporaneous news coverage and devotes significant attention to the individual's role." Not only has the subject received massive ongoing coverage but has also been the focus of a documentaries and is listed at IMBD. There is a number of entries on Google Books as well as local, regional, national and international coverage. I would ask that you would reconsider this redirect. Thank you. Why most likely by Jens Söring?[edit]

Actually, the evidence is not really supporting that he committed the murder as he was only convicted because the circumstances fit. In contrast, the DNA-tests tell a different story, f.e. http://q.b5z.net/i/u/7000525/f/DNS/forensic_report_sep_09.pdf. Anyway, "most likely" is an oppinion. Tampered with[edit]

The story currently says she became eligible for parole in 1995, which cannot possibly be correct. Perhaps someone edited that mischeviously. I could not locate any information on when, or if, she has subsequently become eligible for parole or been released.Lathamibird (talk) 22:41, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I added a source describing her first parole board appearance. It actually did occur in 1995, though I agree that it was surprising to find a parole hearing that early with such a long sentence. To find the reference, I just did a Google News Archive search for "Elizabeth Haysom parole". It is definitely a good idea to source things when they seem dubious. In different parts of the article, I find "She was deported back to her home country, Canada." and "Haysom remains in a ICE facility in Georgia, even though there is a mandate for her deportation from 1989." Please reconcile.
