[edit] Pseudonym
just wondering why the pseudonym "Napoleon Dynamite" was not included in the info box for Elvis Costello
[edit] Secret, Profane & Sugarcane
I'm working on an article for this album now, just a heads up in case anyone else was gonna start one :-) Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 13:29, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Says so there. None of the other appearences need referencing. 203.35.82.133 (talk) 08:28, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Filmography addition
Elvis guest starred in an episode of 30 rock. Randal6546 (talk) 20:26, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
this is already referenced on the 30 rick wiki page. the episode is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kidney_Now! Randal6546 (talk) 20:44, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
- To both above comments I would respectfully point out that Wikipedia is not seen as a reliable source. This is mainly because it is edited by everyone, any one of whom can, and unbelievably sometimes do, enter complete codswallop. Therefore, Wikipedia should never be cited as a source on another Wiki article. Thanks,

- Well it looks like the wiki page I linked to has been taken down or something. anyway, the point is, Elvis' appearance in 30 rock is sourced within the 30 rock wiki page. if that source is good enough for the 30 rock page, i imagine it should be good enough for this page. i'm at work right now and websense blocks almost everything - i can't open the source at this time, but perhaps someone else could double check the source and add the reference into Elvis' wiki page. - Actually the source currently cited in the 30 Rock article is hardly a third party, reliable source. However, I have found one that is, and this has been inserted into Costello's own article.

[edit] Song titles are not italicized
Just a note to say that I went through the article and changed all song titles from italicization to quotes. Per MOS, song titles are not italicized. If I missed any, which is entirely possible, I suggest they be changed. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 16:02, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Removal of Wikinews link
WN is a poor source from a content standpoint. This article already covers the event, and accordingly sourced. There is nothing to be learned from the WN article which isn't already covered by this article; thus, the value added by a poorly written and concise diversionary link from a 'sister project' is zero. Aesthetic reasons are not a sufficient for keeping it there. Ohconfucius ¡digame! 08:45, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Mother's maiden name
Most internet sources state his mother's maiden name was Costello. Is this correct? Sandcherry (talk) 00:34, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
- The Thomson biography definitely says Lillian Alda Ablett, and by the sounds has sighted the marriage cert etc. It does seem strange that his mother's maiden name would be the same as his father's stage name, no? Doctorhawkes (talk) 01:40, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

- Here's a transcript of his birth registration which shows his mother's maiden name as Ablett. Crisso (talk) 18:55, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
