Route description
[edit]I removed a detailed description of the causeway's route, because it was written in "you see..."/"you cross..." style, and Wikipedia is not a travel guide. There should be more information about that, I believe, but it needs to be re-written from scratch. - The Bushranger (talk) 23:32, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
Merge?
[edit]Given that the Florida State Road 528 runs over the causeway, why not merge this article there? ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 19:43, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
- Hm, possible - would WP:UNDUE be an issue though? - The Bushranger One ping only 19:45, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, all of the content in this article is already in the main article, so I'm going ahead with the merge. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 01:06, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose. Most causeways are separate. Cost alone might justify it. The money to construct and maintain these things is huge. It's like taking a significant/distinguished building in a city and writing an article on it, outside of the city article. Causeways are the "significant" additions on roads and, as in this case, make the road possible and useful.Student7 (talk) 15:49, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
