I suspect the paragraph on "ekstasis" to be a hoax -- I can't find reference to this anywhere else. But I'm not changing it, as I don't know enough about the subject. eggsyntax (talk) 02:41, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Entasis in relation to order

I am of the impression that Entasis was typically different for different orders. For example. the narrowing of the column started at a different point (1/3 up, etc.) from the base. Also, the degree of narrowing was lesser in later antiquity. If correct, this isn't really covered in the article and should be.

Also, the pronunciation of the word is not shown and I think that would be useful too.
