Civil Parish[edit]

As far as I can tell Flaxby has always been part of the same parish as goldsborough - certainly a google search today only brings up the one council. Why was it listed as its own civil parish? did the 1971 (?) act split the old parish of Goldsborough?--Robert EA Harvey (talk) 09:05, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

According to the OS map there are two separate civil parishes Goldsborough and Flixby not a single civil parish, there may only be one joint council but it is two civil parishes - I have reverted. Keith D (talk) 13:28, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
